I can't believe that it is already the February half term. The Spring term seems to be flying by so fast but it's been a wonderful 6 weeks. Since the beginning of January we have seen 12 prayer and reflection spaces happen across the County. This is typically one of our quieter terms as everyone settles back into school and into a brand new year. This year saw more prayer and reflection spaces than ever before in this half term and over 3,000 children and young people had the opportunity to encounter a space in their school. Excitingly 4 of these prayer spaces were 2nd spaces in schools who held them for the very first time last year and rebooked for this year. We love seeing reflection and prayer becoming an integral part of school life and are excited for these teams as they develop these spaces for their schools going forward.
Looking ahead to the second half of the Spring term we have 19 prayer and reflection spaces booked into the next 6 weeks ranging from Infant schools to Secondary schools and across both State and Independent schools! We have several first prayer and reflection spaces and one school holding their 9th prayer space. It's going to be a really exciting term. We can't wait to hear all the stories that will come out of these spaces and to be working alongside church teams as they run these spaces in their local schools.
Thank you all so much for your continued support, encouragement and prayer. Mary Phillips , BeSpace
