Didcot Emergency Foodbank
Our churches support the Didcot Emergency Foodbank (DEF), a practical, community based project in Didcot Baptist Church. It aims to provide short term relief by giving food to people in crisis in our local area.
Harwell and Chilton churches collect donations of non-perishable food on behalf of DEF. If you would like to help the Foodbank in this way, you can bring items to any service in our churches or leave them in the collection boxes in our churches. See here for requested items.
DEF is a project of Didcot Baptist Church with support from South Oxfordshire District Council. Further information about it can be found here along with a list of the currently most urgently needed items, although all donations are very welcome.
The Foodbank is open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am to 1pm at Didcot Baptist Church, Wantage Road, Didcot.
